What We Learned at the New York Auto Show
The auto industry is facing some significant headwinds, but auto makers don’t seem all that worried. The New York International Auto Show is under way, its first in-person meetup since 2019. Auto makers could have blamed weak results on any number of issues—the semiconductor shortage, rising raw material costs, and new supply-chain disruptions caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine or by new Covid lockdowns in China.
